Hello again,
I see that I'm a bit behind with my posts. It was a very busy period the last few month of 2022 and I didn't manage to give an update on what I am doing.
Bur first, let me wish you a very happy New Year and that all your dreams and goals may come true!
I can tell you, that I didn't sell any of the dividend stocks but only bought more and added even a new stock to the portfolio and I'm looking to add another one in the next coming months.
The stock market has had a very bad year and my portfolio is also down but not that much if I compare it with some single stocks.
The portfolio is down around 13%, it's not a great result but it's far more better then TLSA or AAPL or any other stock that has taken a serious beaten.
Seeing how low the stocks are today, It is a very good time to buy some stocks as there are some good opportunities today due to the have drawdown. In the first quarter the think that the stocks will even get another hit thus a good time to also buy stocks and hold them.
For the last months (September - December), I have bought the following stocks:
September & October: I did a portfolio transfer and didn't add any stocks during that period. That's why I didn't had an update on the blog.
November: Added 7 ABR, 5 BX and bought 24 INTC (Intel) stocks. Intel is the new tech stock that I added for diversification because I don't have a tech stock in my port. It's giving 5.5% dividend income, low payout ratio and I think that Intel is able to grow in the future.
December: Added 28 stocks of INTC again to grow the position and spread it all equally.
The next stock that I'm watching is TROW. This is again a financial one but for me the fundamentals are very good and the dividend yield is also nice + the price is long term wise at a good level. I hope it drops a bit more so that I can buy a nice amount of shares (the price today is at $109 - $110, so not really cheap. The dividend yield is at 4.3%.
The portfolio is still growing every month and I'm really exited for 2023 and 2024 to see some growth in the dividend yield an stock prices.
Have a great start of the year and till next month!
